Beginner Breakdown
Consists of a warm up and then one to three postures from the Sivananda class
where detailed instructions are given to provide proper alignment, breath, and
mental focus. The instructor may provide adjustments. The class finishes with
a final meditation.
Inspirational Flow
Music adds to the atmosphere where the instructor participates and is therefore
inspired as to which direction the class and sequence of postures flow. Frequently
this class follows a Vinyasa where the postures flow from one to the next much
like a Sun Salutation. A warm up begins the class which finishes with a final
meditation.
Stretch Class
Focused on stretches you can incorporate into your daily routine to relieve
and prevent stiffness. The stretches are also good before and after any physical
exercise to prevent injury and remain flexible. This is not a yoga class.
Sivananda Class
Consists of breath work and warm up, twelve specific postures in a specific
order, and a final meditation. The postures are designed to open your Chakras,
stretch and strengthen your muscles, purify the body by squeezing toxins out
of internal organs, oxygenate the body, and promote spinal flexibility. This
allows for a deeper final meditation.
Nude Classes
Designed to encourage us all to let go of our protective layers enabling us
to begin the process of accepting ourselves as we are. When this happens, without
judgement, we can then begin to accept others unconditionally as they are. This
